《難忘家的美食》係一幅透過繽紛喜悦嘅色彩，描繪出香港極具代表性嘅交通工具同經典小食嘅藝術作品；令人回味對屋企美好嘅回憶。作品貫徹 sketchykarr 嘅畫風特色，運用輕鬆可愛嘅手法，畫出深層次嘅主題，觸動流散港人掛住屋企嘅情懷，引發共鳴。呢件作品係專為渴望返屋企嘅人而創作嘅。

Typical of sketchykarr’s work, a lighthearted touch of cuteness is used to portray deeper topics that are relatable and memorable for those of the Hong Kongese diaspora. This work is dedicated for those longing to return home. 

For those who have left Hong Kong, the mural is a bittersweet reminder of the city's vibrancy and the collective experience shared by many. It captures the warmth and fondness for home, while for many it also personally acknowledges the changes that have occurred. Kar，又叫做sketchykarr，係以英國倫敦為據點嘅才華洋溢嘅兼職插畫家。佢嘅作品旣受到跨文化成長背景嘅影響，又不失香港人嘅影子。sketchykarr 慣用幽默嘅手法去創造出雅俗共賞嘅作品，旨在推廣廣東話文化同埋討論一啲深層次嘅社會現象。

Kar, also known as sketchykarr, is a creative and part-time illustrator based in London, UK. Her work is influenced by her cross-cultural upbringing and her HongKonger heritage. She uses humour to create cute, and sometimes crude, art to promote Cantonese culture and to discuss deeper societal issues.
