簡介 Highlights

華埠掌故館致力記錄同分享華裔加人社區嘅文化故事，而呢啲親身經歷同見證過嘅故事，係嚟自華裔加人歷史嘅中心—溫哥華華埠。華埠掌故館向華埠對溫哥華發展嘅貢獻致敬，並重點展示華裔加人喺加拿大建國過程中所擔任嘅角色。華埠掌故館透過回顧呢啲憑住堅毅精神克服困難、最終取得成功嘅故事，嚟展示呢段我哋共同擁有嘅歷史。我哋相信，呢啲共同點係我哋邁向一個更包容社會嘅基石。

華埠掌故館係一個頌揚先輩們勇於追求美好未來嘅地方，亦係一個鼓勵世代間就當前同未來嘅挑戰展開對話、共同尋求解決方法嘅空間。

The Chinatown Storytelling Centre (CSC) documents and shares the cultural stories of the Chinese Canadian community as experienced and witnessed through its historic epicentre, Vancouver’s Chinatown. CSC celebrates Chinatown’s contributions to the development of Vancouver and highlights the roles of Chinese Canadians in the building of Canada as a nation. CSC believes when we look back on stories of adversity, resilience, and triumph, we reveal our shared history. And we believe this common ground is where we can build a more inclusive society moving forward.

The Chinatown Storytelling Centre is a place that honours their courage to dream of a better future and a space to encourage intergenerational dialogue that will inspire resolve in current and future challenges.
